Former Principal Passes Away

Former Principal, Mr Ron Chapman, passed away on Friday 8th March, aged 100 years. Mr Chapman taught science at Cashmere High School between 1956 and 1968, before moving on to other ventures. He then returned to the school as its second Headmaster from 1973 to 1980.

Last year the school had the privilege of being able to welcome him back to CHS in recognition of his 100th birthday.

Rest in peace, Mr Chapman.
