Bequests

Many people like to leave a gift in their will to support an organisation that has been important in their lives.

As such, leaving a bequest to the Cashmere High School Foundation will help to ensure Cashmere High School continues to be an outstanding learning environment that provides students with exceptional opportunities and experiences.

The most common forms of bequests are: –

  • Specified Bequest
A specified monetary amount. This can either be used by the school where it is most needed or you can specify the purpose that your gift is to be used for.
  • A Specified Bequest may also be in the form of property, shares, stocks, bonds, jewellery, works of art or other gifts you wish to nominate. These may be retained by the Foundation as a capital investment or sold to raise funds. If you wish to specify the purpose that your gift is used for we encourage you to chat with us first to ensure that we will be able to comply.
  • Percentage Bequest
This is a gift of a specific percentage of your estate to be given to the Foundation.
  • Residuary Bequest
The balance of your estate after all other expenses have been deducted.

If you would like to make a bequest/gift to the Cashmere High School Foundation in your will we advise you to speak with your legal advisor.

There is no obligation to inform us that you are intending to leave a bequest to the Cashmere High School Foundation. However, doing so will give us an opportunity to thank you and acknowledge your generosity in your lifetime.
