Oliver! Another Memorable School Production

The last two weeks of Term 2 featured our school production of Oliver!, which was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and talent of our students, and support of our staff. Over six captivating performances, audiences were treated to a display of creativity, hard work and amazing talent. We want to acknowledge the incredible efforts of the cast, crew, lighting and sound technicians, hair and make-up artists, and the orchestra, all of whom played a vital role in bringing this production to life.
Adding to the excitement, the Cashmere High School Foundation hosted two special events that brought together key members of our school community.
VIP Opening Night – attended by some of our founding and past pupils, long-serving staff, board members, sponsors, 2003 Oliver! Lead, and other esteemed guests.
Volunteers Night – dedicated to the valued volunteers who support our rangitahi and school community.  These individuals make an invaluable contribution and give their time to enhance the educational experience.
Both events were a testament to the strong bonds within our school community and a celebration of the shared commitment to our students’ success.

“I wanted to thank you and everyone involved for not only the warm welcome and beautiful catering, students to assist, AND of course the amazing production. but also for making that evening one to always be remembered. The guest I took who is a former singer also loved every moment of the evening.  That production should be shared with the whole city! It was so professional, and the orchestra was certainly a different standard to my days playing with the CHS orchestra” – Ann Linton, Class of 1956
