Alumnus Donation for School’s Physical Education and Rowing Programmes

The CHS Foundation is proud to have facilitated the generous donation from Alumnus Ron Smith in support of the school’s Physical Education and Rowing programmes.

Ron’s donation has enabled the school to purchase a number of rowing ergs for their high performance gym, Te Whare Rehia.

On Monday, 18th September, the school acknowledged Ron’s generosity. A new single scull was blessed, and then staff and students raced each other using live racing technology, with Foundation Treasurer, Jeremy Crang, in attendance.
